Pop-Up Talk: Artist Michael Kareken

As a part of this year’s Print and Drawing Fair at Mia, hear Minneapolis-based artist Michael Kareken talk art and inspiration. Kareken is also a Professor of painting and drawing at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, and his work is exhibited and collected nationally. He will talk about some of his favorite picks from this year’s Fair.

Join us for all of the free Pop-Up Talks at the Print and Drawing Fair! Rub shoulders with a curator, a distinguished artist, and two world-renowned auction house experts. Meet outside the fair entrance. No registration required; first-come, first-served seating.

My drawing, "Magnet," is featured as the cover image of the 4th Edition of "Drawing: Space, Form and Expression" by Wayne Enstice and Melody Peters.  Another drawing, "Scrap Engines #1," is illustrated in the text.
