For the past six months I have been working with the Highpoint Center for Printmaking on a series of monotype prints depicting the landscape of the Pacific Northwest, a subject I began exploring in 2017 with a series of drawings entitled "Shadows & Reflections".
An exhibition of selected monotypes from the series will open at Highpoint on September 21st. For more information, visit the Highpoint website.
Two of my landscapes will be featured in a group show at Groveland Gallery in July, including the image below. Opening reception Saturday, July 21 from 2-5 pm.
Groveland Gallery in Minneapolis will be exhibiting work from my new book, Parts / Auto Salvage Drawings 2014-2017. The show will run from February 24-March 31, 2018.
There will be an opening and book release party at the gallery on Saturday, February 24 from 2-5 pm. In addition, Christopher Atkins (curator at the Minnesota Museum of American Art and author of the book's essay) will join me at the gallery on Thursday, March 22 at 7pm for a discussion about the work and the book project.
